At the KIEPE Test Center, we test and validate complete electric powertrains and individual power electronic components under realistic and reproducible conditions. Our tests support development, validation, and approval processes in demanding applications.
Drive train testing of complete electric drive systems
At the Kiepe Test Center, we test electric motors, inverter-motor combinations, and complete electric drive units across the entire working range. The tests are carried out under stationary and dynamic load conditions and enable reliable conclusions to be drawn about performance, efficiency, thermal behavior, and system function.
Testing of power electronic components
In addition to complete drive systems, we test individual power electronic components such as converters, assemblies, and passive components. The tests include thermal investigations, protective functions, limit range behavior, and EMC and magnetic field measurements.
