High-performance test benches for testing electric drive systems
The KIEPE Test Center has powerful test benches and a comprehensive testing infrastructure for testing electric drive systems and power electronic components. The test benches are designed for high power, dynamic load profiles, and different application scenarios, enabling reproducible tests for development, validation, and approval.
High-performance test benches for sophisticated electric drive systems

Our high-performance test bench is designed for high power and torque and enables the testing of sophisticated drive systems under stationary and dynamic conditions.
Performance data:
- Speed up to 7,900 rpm
- Torque up to 6,000 Nm
- Peak power up to 1,600 kW
- DC voltage up to 4,000 Vdc
- AC voltage up to 30 kVac (16 2/3 or 50 Hz)
System test benches for mobile and industrial drive systems

Our system test benches for mobile applications are suitable for a wide range of electric drives from various industries. They enable drive systems to be tested under realistic operating and load conditions and support both development and validation tasks. Typical areas of application include railway, commercial vehicle, and industrial applications.
